The Warrior Provides Clarity…

One of the characteristics of the Warrior (Samurai) is that he provides clarity. He analyzes the situation and then points out the path to follow. In our journeys we can all get lost, bogged down, walk in circles and it can be a warrior who at that point shows us the path to help us get back on it.

I would like to thank such a warrior who yesterday was able to provide clarity to me around what I perceived as a lack of focus on my path. In my last entry I made reference to things which were distracting me from my purpose, but in the process of discussing those I missed one item. This missed item is not a distraction, but actually one of my foci.

While for the past few weeks I’ve been remiss in devoting time to this blog, the Warriors Voice podcast and workshops (which I’m in the process of creating) I was feeling that I was allowing and creating distractions for my self. What I had missed the main element which I was choosing over doing these tasks. I was fully engaged in my marriage and being a partner with my wife. I have spent much of my time focusing on what it is that I want in my marriage and giving it time and energy.

I find it fascinating that I was feeling distracted from my purpose and did not recognize that I had been focused on a very important piece of my life. My marriage is the main support that I have and use for all of my other endeavors. My spouse, Tarra, is incredibly supportive of my journey and work and she also reaps the benefits of this work.

So now I’m left wondering…..

I’m wondering what my questions are around this.

As I try and ask my questions I find that most of them start with WHY and and not WHAT.

It seems that I’m in resistance around this piece. Well there’s a SHOKER! (Sarcasm)

At this point I think the best path for me around this is to feel into this area and find my ‘What’ questions. These should provide some clarity which I can then use to move forward.

Thanks Allan for helping to get me unstuck!!

Walk In Peace,
